Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may not do with the Jivco Service. It is part of the Terms of Service. Violating it may result in suspension or termination.

1. No unlawful or harmful use

You may not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harm anyone. This includes harassment, threats, defamation, fraud, deceptive practices, distributing malware, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

2. Messaging consent and anti-spam compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your communications are lawful. In particular:

• SMS: You must have the consent required under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier rules before texting recipients, honor opt-outs (such as STOP), and follow messaging time and content rules.
• Email: You must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including accurate headers, honest subject lines, a valid postal address, and a working unsubscribe mechanism.
• You may not use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messages to recipients who have opted out.

Jivco provides tools, not legal clearance — obtaining and documenting consent is your responsibility.

3. Respect third-party platform rules

When you connect integrations (such as Google or Meta), you must comply with those platforms' terms and policies, including their rules on automated activity, review responses, and messaging. Don't use the Service in a way that would violate a connected platform's terms.

4. No misuse of AI features

You may not use Jivco's AI features to:

• Generate content that is deceptive, fraudulent, or intended to impersonate a person or organization in a misleading way.
• Produce harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise abusive content.
• Misrepresent AI-generated content in a way that violates applicable disclosure laws.
• Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or interfere with the underlying models or safety controls.

Remember that AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing content before it is sent (see the Terms of Service).

5. No interference or abuse of the Service

You may not circumvent plan limits, usage controls, or security features; scrape or overload the Service; share access credentials improperly; or resell the Service without authorization.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate. We may also report unlawful activity to authorities.
